About Wayward Key Tours

Wayward Key Tours is a private, captained boat charter service operating in the Clearwater and St. Petersburg, Florida area. All charters are led by Captain Keith, a U.S. Coast Guard–licensed captain. Our boat accommodates up to 6 guests per charter.

Booking and Payment

• All bookings are made through our third-party booking platform, FareHarbor, or by contacting us directly by phone, text, or email.
• A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking, as specified during the reservation process.
• Prices are as listed on our website and booking platform at the time of reservation. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time, but confirmed bookings will be honored at the price quoted.
• All charters are private and reserved exclusively for your group.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as early as possible.
• Specific cancellation deadlines and refund policies are communicated at the time of booking through FareHarbor.
• If weather or sea conditions make a charter unsafe or uncomfortable, we will work with you to reschedule at no additional cost. Captain Keith monitors conditions closely and will communicate with you directly if changes are needed.
• Wayward Key Tours reserves the right to cancel any charter due to unsafe conditions. In this case, you will be offered a full reschedule or refund.

Safety and Conduct

• The safety of all guests is our top priority. All guests must follow the instructions of Captain Keith at all times while on the water.
• U.S. Coast Guard–approved life jackets are available onboard for all guests.
• Guests under the influence of drugs or exhibiting behavior that endangers themselves or others may be returned to the dock at the captain’s discretion, without refund.
• Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings. Wayward Key Tours is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
• Children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

Assumption of Risk and Liability

• Boating and water activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to changing weather and sea conditions, sun exposure, wildlife encounters, and water-related hazards.
• By participating in a Wayward Key Tours charter, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume these risks.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wayward Key Tours, Captain Keith, and associated parties shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation in a charter, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
• Guests may be asked to sign a liability waiver before departure.

What’s Included

Unless otherwise noted, every private charter includes: a USCG-licensed captain, a sunchill float and chair floaties, bean bags, a cooler with ice, fresh water shower, a restroom onboard, Bluetooth music, and on-water photos sent after your trip. Guests are welcome to bring their own food, drinks, and snacks.

Alcohol Policy

Guests are permitted to bring alcoholic beverages onboard for personal consumption. Wayward Key Tours does not provide alcohol. All guests consuming alcohol must be 21 years of age or older. The captain reserves the right to limit alcohol consumption if it affects safety.

Photos and Media

We may take photos or videos during your charter for promotional use on our website, social media, and marketing materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know before departure and we will respect your wishes.

• We make every effort to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all content is error-free at all times.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Pinellas County, Florida.
